Marsman : a real case study.
If you are reading Marsma: what do you think is the role o psychology in trading?
....It amazes me how anyone could believe their is any risk free strategy.
More realistically, costless collars are very limiting strategies meant to preserve against catastrophic failure but at the expense of any growth. The realistic values make it an unsatisfying strategy if you want to grow.
Thats what I got out of it too.I thought I must have missed something, but:
So yes, costless collars might not lose you anything but also won't make you 25% per week. It is like a full hedge, no pain, but also no gain...

Still standing tall as the funniest post on ET since I've been around. Right or wrong... I love it.
Will you give him a month to answer ? Not alot of people pay attention im sure he or she could find those not paying anything. The guy is an idiot who doesn't understand the concept of risk management. I keep saying/asking... what's the VAR/risk at +/- 30% and 50% and 70%... and he never wanted to acknowledge that...
So I will keep asking it again, dude... what's the risk at those levels? If you can't provide that (which basically means, you don't WANT to provide that info), don't bother asking for money... not with me, not with professional investors.
