Why traders get no respect

If you think brushing your teeth will stop you from having cavities then I have a nice vacation property available. Ever hear any of Dr. Wallach's speeches? Your body is your teeths worst enemy, if you don't have enough of the proper nutrients/minerals your teeth will be absorbed regardles of how often you brush. One example given "Camels don't brush their teeth, ever seen a Camel with cavity's? Their breath is a different story though." Nutrition is the key to cavity's, although you'll never hear a Dentist telling you to take vitamins and minerals.

*I had a doctor who almost killed me, he was incompetent and knowing what I know, I wouldn't let him scrape the bottom of my shoes (ie. no respect). I quickly switch doctors, if my current doctor told me to jump off a bridge, I would do it. He has my respect


*I went to school, in the same fraternity etc., with a person who is now a 'very' famous actor. If we go "out" people go crazy because he is, well who he is. This person does not deserve anymore respect than anyone else (His acting is not that good), but as I said people obsess over him (a society thing I guess), but those who truly knew him before do not respect him, as a human being, anymore than they did before.

*I also know a person who was a successful CEO(that would be respected right?), he has since plead guilty to fraud.

*Dell... Drop-out (no respect right?). I respect him, not for his money(15+ billion is very cool, and will gain one alot of power), but for what he was able to build and accomplish.

*There are many wealthy lawyers whom I do not respect.

Try not to confuse respect for the 'person', to respect for their 'wealth', 'power', 'title' and /or 'beauty'. These other types of respect do exist, but they are 'different'.

As said in this tread, respect is earned. It is not given to anyone.

(exception: the Hilton twins, I would love to show them 'both' my respect:D)j/k
 
how about some more 'teeth' stuff. I know I've really gotten to be a better person because of it, to say nothing of the additional money it has brought in.
