Why these Canadians would take Trump over Trudeau

Same with Americans. FYI that is why he won the election. Your know info comes from the same pols that had clinton in the lead before the election.

NY Post has it correct. Two of many, many problems north of the border.

(1) Health care is not free, and run very poorly by government. Private healthcare is outlawed. The infrastructure has not kept up with refugees, immigration and sanctuary cities. Very sad. Sewer needs draining.
(2) media has a severe libtard bias (except Rebel). Day and night the news is dominated by ant-Trump lies. Canada needs a Trump to "make Canada great again".

Utter nonsense, Trump's approval rating in Canada is 13%. If you dislike Canada so much, leave. Anyone who uses the terms "libtard" and "sanctuary city" in a post about Canada is seriously out of touch and doesn't understand this country at all.

Just like with "Achilles28", one really has to question your judgement when you choose to live in a country with a value system far different then your own. What is the hold Canada has over you ? Is it the only place you can get a job ?

I read in TO Sun newspaper a few years ago, the total tax rate, income tax + sales (HST) tax and whatever tax included; totals over 60% annually for the average Pierre. Now if the USA can get the masses to pay close to 60% taxes , and the 47 million people that's not counted to cough up some green backs and contribute to society rather than take, then it's healthcare for everyone. The Canadians and everyone else would envy USA system.

:wtf: Are you one of the 60,000 illegal refugees, sponging off the hard working citizens of Canada? Very sad.
Fact…your libtard PM :vomit: is a sponsor of state terrorism…period. Keep listening to the CBC et al fake news and you could dumb your status down to imbecile.:banghead:
And while you're at it, spark up another one.:D

Under what medical insurance are you covered and how much does it cost per year ? Perhaps you are one of many Americans that underpay their taxes and that's why your "debt to GDP" is at all time highs and insurance premiums are rapidly increasing. I do worry that you are one of the baby boomers that is saddling future generations with debt. Don't be so selfish, time to pay your true tax burden.

If the US could have a medical system that is the "envy" of the world, then what's stopping you ? The reality is you have one of the worst systems in prosperous nations. A great system in the US neither helps not hurts me as a Canadian, but my sense of fair play is I don't like hearing that millions of Americans are uninsured and thousands die because of it ever year. But I do accept it's the system that Americans chose and good luck with that.

The U.S. offers quality medical care that is the envy of the world. People come from all over the world for medical care in the U.S. -- from Saudi, from Taiwan, from Europe, and from Canada. Many people from Canada. In fact at many specialty centers in the U.S. -- such as the Duke Heart Center, Canadians represent 10% of the patients in many years. The only thing you need is money -- cold hard cash -- to get the best medical care on the face of the earth in the U.S.

We have a high debt to GDP ratio because we have responsibilities around the world that we cannot abandon as the Canadians have. If we did, then I agree that we could afford a better health care system. Or at least if we required others to pay their fair share. I am sure that those shipments of surplus maple syrup to Ethiopia are appreciated but sometimes more than that is needed. Just sayin, eh?
