Each side wants to teach its own version of history. We know from reading the daily newspapers that liberal history is full of endless lies, eg Hillary was a great Secretary of State, Obama is a great leader, Reagan was a dunce who wrecked the economy, etc. It's why the states were foolish to cede control of their school cirricula to a group of liberals under the guise of Common core.
