Why some Americans asking for lower salary from the boss?

Inheritance super most unfairest thing in the world. It is money earned without working which is not fair at all. Just because this money was owned by your biological parents does not mean you should own it.
Period...

Using this logic I am sure you would agree that the money should not go to the US Government. Send it to the UN to give to third world nations and/or staring kids directly.

Quote from zdreg:

why should people work hard to accumulate wealth if it taxed heavily at death? it was taxed once when accumulated. they are motivated to work hard in order that their children and grand children should have it easy.

taxing it a 2nd time is confiscatory.
actually most inheritence is never taxed before death.

Quote from misterno:

I suppose you are against heavy taxation of inheritance also.

Right?

Absolutely. It's a double tax. As for the ridiculous comment about most inheritance not being taxed before death (which I could only see because zdreg quoted the dope I have on ignore), where does the poster think the money comes from? Trees in the back yard?

It was taxed through salary, capital gains, interest expense, etc. Every dollar earned is taxed in some regard.

But you somehow think its more "fair" that the money should be split up and given to everyone instead of the biological kids? What kind of commie bullshit is that?

lower salary always helps when there are layoffs.

so in one way, if u are underpaid as compared to your peers. you will be spared.
ha ha.
