Why should the health care industry be a for profit institution?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

A reasonable living.

Do you know what reasonable is?

You could run a non profit corporation and make a very reasonable living. It happens all the time.

It all is a function of why the corporation exists, what is its primary function.

Does it exist for the purpose of generating profits for the corporation?

Does it exist to help others?

Does it exist to provide jobs and opportunity for others?

Does it exist like a shark?

Or does it exist like a benevolent civilized human being?

So according to you not only do I have to do the prerequisite training, licensing, continuing education , I've got to also successfully get IRS permission to form a NPO just so I can work?

Yes , of course I know what reasonable is: It's whatever I decide to agree to in my contracts.

Did I say you need the IRS's permission to own your own business?

If you are some greedy scumbag (like the types found on Wall Street) running a health care business for the sake of profits, then the practice of medicine is not your first priority.

Can it be any plainer?

What is the first priority? Business...or medicine?

If you struggle with the answer, then the answer is clear...

So all contracts are reasonable?

ROTFLMAO....

You are a dimwit if you think so...

You are saying making a profit is bad and the only way to avoid being tainted according to you is to form a NPO.

If I have this wrong please explain what I as a sole prop should do to have your blessings?

I'm sorry that you cannot read. I'm not in the habit of signing contracts I find unreasonable. you?

Please link to quote where I said making a reasonable profit is bad?

So tell me how come your mode of income is not subject to such scrutiny and restrictions?

My mode of income is not health care...

This is a discussion of health care, right?

You are probably some sore sort of staffing geek who actually THINKS he's in medicine.
