Why Road Barriers Stopped Killing Drivers

In some cases. Mostly sand (?). The further barel goes , - the more damage it absorbs.
This way lighter cars stops faster.
Was always curious about those structures.
It's really good that modern equipment has advanced so much in terms of safety, there are so many incompetent and/or irresponsible drivers on the road.
Yup. Had a crazy driver co-worker. Took a trip with him few times, saw his driving madness, refused to travel with him ever again. Man was left in disbelief. For him it was ,,all fine".
Some just are crazy/stupid.
