Religion relies on ignorance and delusion. What easier group is there to lie to than the already deluded and ignorant? Which group sees science as an enemy of their delusion and ignorance? Which group denies the reality of AGW? Couple this ignorance with their innate paranoia and propensity towards fear and resistance to new ideas and what do we get? A GOP in control of the once greatest nation on earth. Now we look like stupid hicks.
