why not pass a bill outlawing foreclosures for a period

i have this terrible fear that financialy responsible living will become a felony

the penalties already given are already much larger than fines for most felonies

but at least i dont have a criminal record

for that, i am gratefull

The sad thing is that 60% of Americans would likely think this is a solid idea.

Probably 30% of congress as well.

Its better to make a law that for any loan, any credit, a 30% deposit is required.

In effect government is already preventing the foreclosure of the banks and hence bad decision making / greed on the part of the lender is not being addressed.

Why make it a felony when you can just fine the living crap out of the productive without going through the paperwork and the hiring of more law enforcement officers. Sweet deal for the government.

If you want to leave the country in protest, the government rapes you on the way out by taxing your assets as an exit fee (like the mafia).

So, the only option is to live it up. don't save. Live beyond your means and let the government pound sand.
