The biggest point you miss though is that this protest did occur on April 15th only because of that days symbolic value. The reality is that this is not about taxes, higher or lower, this is about the amount of control the government is gaining over our lives.

The right wingers had 8yrs to protest all this shit theyre bitching about.They had 8yrs to change it,protest it.ALL this govt control youre talkin about happened under bush.Nobody on the right was offended by the govt spying on its own people.In fact any body who opposed it was called a traitor,unpatriotic etc...The last 8yrs saw the most incompetent and biggest power grabbing govt you guys ever saw and you didnt protest one frikkin bit.Give me a god damn break.
And now you organize rallies???You know the gop is DEAD.But better than that the conservative philosophy has been proven to be an utter failure.It is rapped up in the past-it is a luddite philosophy.Traditional garbage-like family values bs,deregulation,freemarkets.All feel good nonsense.It has nothing to do with reality.The gop has always been about gaming the sytem and supported by people who share that ideal-until they need the govt to bail them out.
