Why no bible books between 450BC and 60AD?

Our limited senses and limited intellect are not the reason God exists, they are what prevents man from knowing God directly.

Children judge their parents behavior from their level of understanding, that's part of their ignorance.

Your ignorance is in not admitting your ignorance and demanding from God like a child demands from their parents understanding of why the parents do what they do.

A man from China visits you. He speaks no English, you speak no Chinese.

Can you hear him speak? You hear sounds, but you don't hear what he is really saying.

If you have an interpreter that allows you to communicate ideas back and forth via the interpreter, is the man from China speaking to you, are you hearing him through the interpreter?
Does it matter as long as nothing is lost in translation, whether you hear it from the man from China, or though the interpreter?

Just because we don't understand the language of God, doesn't mean God isn't speaking to us...

I have no comment on the Bible but to say that what we read in the common Bibles has been translated and changed multiple times by men with their own agendas...

Why do you have the need to continually judge the personal belief systems of others when their beliefs are different from you own?

It makes it appear as if you are not genuinely content with your own beliefs...

Getting back to the original question, the answer depends on your outlook:

A) If you do not believe, it makes no sense, as the scripture says clearly: "The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing" and that they shall look and listen but not see or hear. In other words, unbelievers cannot comprehend God's plan or His works. They are prevented from understanding.

So, it seems odd there are no books during this time. But the OT is a completed work, complete with everything needed by Israel to have fellowship with YHWH. And it points forward to a Messiah in many ways (such as Moses, who said there would be one like Him who would come), and a New Covenant particularly in Jer 31:31-34.

B) If you do believe, it makes perfect sense. The Gospels, Epistles and other books detail the life of the promised Messiah and the life of the early church as formed through the apostles, prophets and early believers in Israel , and Paul throughout much of the Roman world. It details the working of the good news, fulfillment of prophecy about the Messiah, the workings of God's plans, and the final judgment.

Nonbelievers wrestle over why only a subset of books were included in canon. Believers know precisely why, as its authorship was guided by God, working through His people.

The OT and NT were written by God as His perfect plan to those who follow Him, and to confound those who do not.
