Why look at volume ?

If his method actively looks for increase/decrease of volume on following bars (which it does) then this type of presentation (again, an option in the charting platform) makes a lot of sense.

The logic is sound in terms of accentuating a phenomenon, however the varying height of a volume histogram provides that information. Adding color to the histogram reinforces a particular data point at the expense of another. Volume is either incr or decr. The exception is when it is the same, which requires a context to determine if it's more like incr or more like decr.

Yes, the price pane contains that info, and when someone's workspace is with the HRE, efficiency is key.

While it is true, NOTIONAL and/or EXACT price, and MAGNITUDE of price movement CAN NOT be ascertained from volume, price DIRECTION can be ascertained by volume alone.

To do so, one must understand there is an order of events that occurs within the volume, and where within that order of events the market is trading.

None of that is to say your opinion is wrong. Just that it is opinion. Myself, I use volume, and price, in that order. I believe Sprout does the same. If I was forced to choose only one, price or volume, I would choose volume. But I don't have to make that choice. I have price and volume and I use both.

A very good comment based on a deeper understanding of the market's true system of operation.

I'm sorry but your annotated just is a perfect example of classing hindsight bull..... You make it sound like you can explain every move, as if you know who's buying and selling, but if that was the case, I would like to see the associated trades that go along with this analysis.

I think your summary/analysis only works once you see what has happened.

If you think about your last line [ ''only works....];
Gotcha, we Gotcha. I mean since no one can predict the market; + the past can repeat plenty, not exactly, but close enough to help . Not sure he meant ''to explain every move''

By the way; i doubt if he was against beginners completely, cause they are right some. LOL Thanks
