It's slightly more nuanced than that. All their programs involve taxing republicans to get money to give to their supporters. Other than few highly paid NYC bankers, corporate weenies and movie stars, virtually everyone else who pays meaningful federal income taxes votes republican.

So for democrats, crazy schemes like obamacare are win-win. They push big government, but they also subsidize their own constituencies and force republicans to pay for it. How sweet is that?

yes, ratings are very important, the higher you rate the better you were, they are still trying to rate Abraham Lincoln, but I'm confident over time, he will be rated very high. Anybody can accidently start a war the gets out of hand.

Every year we vote on the best actors and actresses and best picture. They call it the "Academy Awards". I don't see why each year we should not vote on "The Presidential Awards" to determine who was truly the best president.

and I think living presidents should be allowed to walk on a red carpet from their limousines to the auditorium where they will be honored.

getting back to the topic, why liberals despise the TEA party...because the TEA party stands for TEA, Taxed Enough Already. And your side can't come up with a single idea, not one, that doesn't involve TMM, the TMM party, Taxing Me More. In your small mind, the problem is I am not being Taxed enough. All problems could be solved if we just taxed me more. What happens when you run out of money to be taxed? Well, we haven't thought that far ahead. As long as somebody has a yacht or a private jet, there is money to be taxed.

How did they make enough money to buy a private jet? Don't ask us, we don't understand anything about making money, we are all just political science majors. As long as they have it, we want it.
