Why is trading so difficult?

Instead of charts, create a spreadsheet with some formulas to tell you when to close trades. My decisions are made with math!

I have been learning and studying technical analysis since 1994 but i still cannot turn a money profit.
I do not make a loss in demo/sim.

As many others say - it is maybe time for you to try with a very small account, but real money. trading is the game against our own weaknesses, each of us has some and in order to be profitable, you will have to overcome them. Whenever it is - greed, fear, arrogance, hypocrisy, reckless - if your goal is to be profitable you will have to scan yourself and train to free from those weights.

Your initial post says you haven’t turned a profit since 1994! You suck at trading. Have you considered hat you’re never going to be profitable?

I think the biggest reason is patience, most people do not want to sit around and do nothing 95% of the time and only take the best trades.

i have come to realise i am doing one thing wrong in live and that is taking too big positions.
There will always be some whipsaw or noise that will stop you out or cause a margin call

YES
and in my case too big positions because i am so confident of what the market should do, but it always does not do that and sometimes does exactly the opposite.

The market does that because there are many who have good knowledge which enable them to reduce risk; but there should always be risk in your trade,because, if there is only one outcome,no one will take the opposite side of the trade.

yes i i might never be profitable but i am not going to lie like some sweet people.
I have never made a loss when i do not trade
