Why is trading so difficult?

You then do not define technical as I do. You must be talking chart patterns and such. You a quant? Then you should know what I am referring to.
i know what you referring to, it has nothing to do with the technical analysis

If you really had millions, you wouldn’t have such an ugly dog!
The dog has nothing to do with what one makes.

Its just that like the one who came back from the war do not brag about it, especially to the people who never been there, similarly are the ones who made real money ...

the conversation would go something like this:

Mousa: You do not look like men Griggs sent before. You not look like you are with military.

Rambo: I'm not.

Mousa: What you are? Mercenary?

Rambo: No.

Mousa: You're not with military, not mercenary - what you are? Lost tourist?

Rambo: I'm no tourist.

Mousa: Well, I do not know who you really are. But by the way you look, I can see you have no experience in war, do you? C'mon, do you?

Rambo: I've fired a few shots.

Mousa: [laughing at Rambo] A few shots? Come on! Maybe you should go back home and think it all over again. For a very long time!

Rambo: I did think it over.

Mousa: You did? Well... This is your choice. But let me tell you, you cannot get this American alone. If you fail, do not blame me. I will accept no responsibility.

Rambo: Sounds familiar...

i knew one old lady while back,

you would look at her - you would think that she is some old spinster on SSI

quiet, slow, simple, unpretentious, unnoticeable, lived nearby in one bedroom apartment

she owned at least the half of the diamond district on 47th street....

they said money talks...imho money does not talk

Bots trading algos make money everyday. Quants program these bots to execute profitable trades everyday. It is all technical. Bots generally do not tradeon fundamental or macro reports (I stop short of saying "no bot trades on fundamental or macro data" because I certainly can not claim to be familiar with all the programs being traded). "Quant" means something can be quantified, measured, given an objective value. Learn to trade like a quant and you will be simply amazed at how well technical analysis works.

Thanks for being so current with a 2013 article. Technical analysis is no better than 50/50!

I've been trading since 1986. Don't kid yourself into thinking things have changed so much in the last 5 short years. They haven't changed much in the last 32.

I've posted a decent number of trades in real time in the ES journal over the last few weeks. My win rate is far in excess of 50%. Then again, I've been told that what I use isn't TA. Who knows what to believe?
