Why is this slow?

I'm a Forex noob. I trade ES during the day and would like to watch something at night.

For some reason every chart I open moves. really. slow.

Why is this? Is it simply because there is no centralized exchange? Is this just the nature of Forex?

Perhaps slow is the wrong word, its just spotty.

Forex, like ES, tends to be less active at night, but EUR/USD usually picks up around 12-1 A.M.

Widen up ur time frame, and wait for the London Open.
