Why is the volume so modest , considering the epic carnage ?

I noticed that. the es traded 1/3 the vol of crazy days last week. Liquidity was tougher today. I think people are scared and shocked and don't want to get involved right now. I don't blame them

But SDOW, SQQQ, QQQ, TQQQ,SPY has had nice 50 day average all year/+.
SDOW has never been super liquid, like SPY/Liquidity leader........................................
BUT its liquid enough,
