Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

you can trade ANYTHING
Do you think the answer as to why YOU were able to figure it out and others have not is due to life experience?
Are there any things that you think you've experienced in life that helped you?
Maybe i haven't...maybe what i think is the obvious isn't at all and i'm sure i'm not the only one that thinks this way but the truth is i'd be very surprised if it isn't... the trick is to not get too smart and try going against it for one reason or another and that is the why forgeting about all the other bucket of shit you think you know needs to be forgoten..LOL
When i first started trading the guy we paid money to teach us (idiots) asked myself and my Irish friend how long we thought it will take to learn the game, my answer was 12 months and my friend's 10 years, well my Irish friend is a lot smarter than I.
the Irish are very smart..not even the Italian mafia can beat them
but..they are run by the same muppets that run all countries..those who are in it for what they can get out of it..and they don't give one little iota about the pleb on the street..which..is why you should screw them every chance you get !!
is your Irish friend in Ireland or elsewhere..as..most Irish who try trading haven't a clue what they are doing..they would be better off chasing a rainbow for the "croc o' gold" buried at one end..thing is..it is always at the end they start with..so they never find it..not in a million years
i must say..i am a little bit surprised that no one has asked certain questions in relation to timing of entries and exits..as it really is key..
the ES/ MES offers some great trading opportunities from 09:30 to 10:30.. sometimes a little later..but on average the first 1hr is adequate..
then..we have the final hour of the day..so.. overall..for very short term trading the day can be limited to 2 to 2.5 hours..what could be better than that..
who in their right mind would want to sit in front of Bill Gates all day long..well..not me for sure..i have spent enough of my life adoring Mr Gates..and as an "educator" in PLC control once said to me..back in 1996..

another reason why the ES/MES offers adequate opportunities is because of the amount of speculative trades completed each day..
i was tracking the OI for ES futures..but stopped..as no real need..but if my memory serves me correct..and i would not expect to see any real change since i last looked..the ADV for ES is around 1 million..but the OI change is about 20k to 50K..
what this means..is..that the majority of trades on the ES are automated trading..the so called "black boxes"..you will never get a better opportunity..and as the Gann fellow in Aussie Land used to say..
