You must ask yourself that if what you are doing is not really working out well, then surely something major is wrong. You do not have to know anything about where price has been if it has nothing to do with your current risk/reward expectations. It is obvious that how you go about forming your expectations will be very important as it will affect your end results. No good trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

You sound like a seer with tons of knowledge to share for all of us who fail every day in our trading lives, as you intimate we all do. After all, you keep speaking of us all in the second-person.
You have been condescending ever since you joined ET with your ridiculous ES trading thread, where you asked over and over and over again for us to post live ES trade-data charts marked up with entries and exits, and when you were presented with them, did not believe in them/find value in them. Then you posted one or two of your own, with no markings. We called you on it. You then claimed some BS about how your charts showed everything we needed to know, but had ZERO proof it was a live trade. You just assumed we all must have known what your trading platform looked like, and chastised us for not knowing your platform.
You keep preaching that everyone on this forum has major obstacles to overcome. Methinks the one obstacle YOU have to overcome, wtfauoa, is yourself.
Why do you need to hash out your grievances with this dude in THIS thread? Can't you do it in the OTHER thread? This thread is bloated enough.

The lesson should be to learn from what has happened others, as it will keep happening day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year. If you are able to make money and hold on to it using TA, PA or FA, then you are indeed one of the chosen few.

This is very normal. When a person does not understand the most likely reactions are frustration and stupidity. Just look at any thread on this forum, or any other forum. It is always the "same old story".
The first step is awareness, which most never allow themselves to take. The reasons can be many, but the main one is always ignorance. Common sense really, and so obvious.
You are correct, but I would say this is the case only for some people. I imagine they are the 'vocal minority' that exists in every discussion in society.
I have asked more than a few questions in this thread. I have not once received an answer that "I" was capable of understanding, or that I think put me any further along the path of understanding what needs to be done. But I don't lash out and get all upset about it. I say this b/c I do not believe I am some exception, most people aren't getting the answers they have either asked, or can understand, but they don't lose control and ruin threads that are interesting to some by starting pissing contests.
I tried to make mention of an idea a few posts back, which was that NOBODY, is EVER going to post explicitly how to take money from other traders on the internet. I don't think people believe this fact?
I think if people could read the above, actually internalize that idea, and finally accept it, it would ease their stress levels.
