I went short APR VIX futures yesterday @ 24.50. My reason is simple and logical and I'm happy to discuss it with OP. I don't know how I can help OP, but if he truly has taken an interest, I'm happy to discuss opportunities very privately.

Hey look, I never said he was unhelpful or unkind or impatient. All I'm saying is it's INSANELY suspect he is in contact with OP, and that if you want to sway others' opinions (about yourself or your trading skills or stocks you think might go up
), all it requires is a few different account names on particular websites that all agree with each other (Jon Lebed for the 10th time). If everyone on here was convinced I was an amazing trader with lots to offer, it wouldn't actually matter if I was a good trader or not! My reputation (pumped up by my own fake anonymous bullshit) convinces everyone else I'm worth something.I should mention I do not condone manipulation. It's illegal and very scummy.

I do not trade VIX futures..but in this instance I think that is irrelevant.
If you are holding short..then you must be of the opinion that the SPX is going to rise..as a rising SPX will results in a falling VIX futures.
If your logic is based on fundamentals..then you should be shorting the SPX..or going long the VIX futures..but it all depends on your projected hold time and proit target objective.
Do you have a duration..stop loss level..and profit target level identified?
