Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Before the ding dong E48, look up polarity also, as to make ur pl positive u must attract negative, as like poles repel and unlike poles attract !

This post early on was a bit of a giveaway.

There is a trader on another site that uses what I think is a sort of automated momentum system, and the logic behind this is very acceptable.

When the prices stop moving you automatically adjust positions to lock in profits - when they start moving again you adjust positions depending on the direction and magnitude of the move.

I am not sure how it works in fast markets, but at certain times it may be spot on?

And this. ;)

The obvious is too obvious to be obvious. Lets all make GOOD money!
The obvious is so real and simple that most can not see it, which is very understandable based on historical studies, if one but cares to put some time into studying history!

So, a valid question is, why does history repeat itself over and over, as it is "obvious" it does, no matter what anyone says otherwise !

It would be rude of me to just post my opinion of direction, dates, and levels, with no mention of how I came up with same, so I will post the chart I used.

I am reluctant to mention what is on the chart, as it might send some people off in the wrong direction and cost them some money if they try and trade same. Some traders will know what the chart is about.

A more thorough check has resulted in the following changes, as the chart does not lend itself too kindly to lines on such a wide timespan - so actual dates had to be taken instead.

Better to measure twice and cut once!

Start date for decline still as of now.

End date for decline is now 09/02/2016.

A steep decline may start from 10/02/2015.

Levels stay the same.

Still just my opinion of course:)

Is this all you look for? The prior post nailed the sell-off, just a week late. Still very good. I tried to make this work, but couldn't. Applied it mostly to FX. Are you just trading stocks?
