As for what's interesting on the chart - the options go down when the index does, but do not go up when the index does.

So you entered towards the low and end of day when this divergence happened.

Next day the same thing initially but the options did catch up when the index made a move towards the strike price

Are we talking about the flaw in the clock? But knowing the flaw and how to adjust for it are two different things

the option will expire tomorrow..and u can see from previous chart why buying otm options with only a few days left can be very risky..so if doing so must keep risk small..and if big move happens..which it might tmrw..then u will make some nice money for very small risk

i closed the jul2013500..got an extra 20 pts to close at 440 by hitting the bid with a lmt order..as nice rally into close..but i was reluctant..as the mib showed signs ALL DAY OF WANTIN TO BUST UP..and it might just do so tomorrow morn after US markets rallied..however..i was away from desk..so i closed on mobile phone app just before market closed

never be afraid to take profits..especially when u have more than one trade open..as u will never go broke by taking profits..TO did not buy the low..and more than likely not sell the high..but who gives a shyte....this one made €344 after commissions..not bad for an example trade that was done to show how a controlled risk trade has a good probability of making money in a very volatile market

someone posted a while ago something along the lines of "why trade at all"..well..reality is if u do not trade u will never make any money..but when u do trade u are putting ur money at risk the moment ur order is filled..so..there is only ONE THING that u can do to help urself..and we all know what that is by now..don't we

ZT..max risk was €756 incl commissions..but that is only if the BIG black swan arrives

a more realistic risk..based on some simple eyework..would be 100 pts..or €256 incl comms

now..this trade in no way means the mib is where the easy money is..it is a very risky market to trade..if u look at an earlier chart u can see how much of a sorry bastard u would have been if you had bought calls when mib up at near 14800..but..as with all markets..there is no gain without the risk..so..as TO keeps mentioning..making money is not about predicting the future..it is about knowing what does..and what does not..work..so..always beware those who only speak of winning..for..when they do so..all they do is show what they do not know

For example

In one market I go all in all out and just reverse to grab vol.

In a separate market , I go all in and scale out while trailing stop once partial tgts are hit ,

Many ways to execute trade management. I'm interested in what you like.

it all depends on what type of trading u are doing..so..for options on mib..u have seen typical trade..identify max risk..get in without thinking about it too much..know at what level u should look at getting out..and always take profits when u have them..even if it means missing out on big move..for..u can enter again very quickly with a few clicks of a mouse

btw ZT..the mib is currently showing +68 at current ES levels..u see..The Oracle can see the future

for daytrading US stocks..now..that is completely different

all in can be a very bad thing to practice..and i would never ever do it..no matter how much is possible to make..for..the one day i think i have it made..bang..down the fukin swanny goes the whole lot..and the big fat arse bastards will be laughing at you..again

position sizing is of course very important..and yes..u must trade bigger size when required..but the important part here is the WHEN REQUIRED..not when you think it might be..for..there is a big difference..and when you know the difference..u will know

anyway ZT..no matter what market u trade..there is one OBVIOUS thing that you must know to control ur risk..and make some good money..and NY has told me what it is..but it has never been directly mentioned in this thread..well..as far as i know anyway..so..let us see if it will ever be mentioned..and not by TO of course..but by someone who has entered The Matrix
