Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

I was inspired by POT to look for uptrending stocks. The uptrend for POT seems to have burned out. WHR was trending up too but possibly it has finished now. UCO still appears to be powering up.

and a few more got my attention:
ETN, CTXS, IPCC, PLL, QCOM

Quote from The Oracle:

still no answer to the color question!

A change in color would be important I think. If price has been rising & it's green, green, green, green, then you start seeing a different color hitting the bid or below the bid then maybe you need to be alert.

I don't know what the "R" word is, but it would seem to me that size, color, and the relation to the chart would be important. There are certain areas on a chart that seem to attract more attention than others.

For instance on a stock chart the big guys probably watch the 50 & 200 day moving averages, so if you know how to read time & sales at those locations you can see if they are interested or not.

Correction, that should have been IDCC. No matter though as I didn't trade any of them.

This was a question asked by TO that I dont think any of us nailed down. I think I have stumbled across the answer as when i read it, i thought of this. I am not taking credit for the answer but just noticing it as it reminded me of this question. Thanks to MAC for bringing up some good info.

- As day traders we are trying to extract the most amount of money offered by the market, out of the market each day.-

It sounds stupid, but there is a lot to be said about that statement.

Mack

Regarding the “R”

You enter a trade… what’s the most calming/ assuring thing that could happen right after that

And if it has “R” – you’re next thought is probably when do I exit with profit (which you should already know as that must be of the “plan” before each entry)

R is synonymous with M

And R is not one word, but describes a condition

RSC..WHAT DO I SEE!

everything about trading boils down to the act of buying and selling..one person buys and another sells..simple as that

at certain times..like the pre-open..there will be few buyers and sellers for stocks

when the market opens..there will be many buyers and sellers

the more buyers and sellers there are..the more competition for price improvement

the more competition there is..the more volatile the price movements will be

R.... .......... .... .... ........ .... ........... .... ...... .... shows what is actually happening..right NOW
