Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

After the race, when Bikila was asked why he had run barefoot, he replied, “I wanted the world to know that my country, Ethiopia, has always won with determination and heroism."

Never can see A.

do not trade it.

I posted the picture of the British girls.
not to be an idiot, but there is something about the Brits
I always liked.
Something about Paul Revere and the
way a farmer wakes early to check on the flock.

B shouts, hey look at me, I'm going down.
In real time.
A only see when it's too late to do anything.

Can't short. Can Inverse trade though?

Oh, haven't tried the OHLC yet, been fixated on the candles.

the next day is here..it is time to cheer
no care do have i..as time will fly by
ding dong with a song..they all play along
i watch with amuse..and wait for the clues:)

o look what i see..is that bizzy bee:D
over and back..still on the track
the nectar in sight..i quickly take flight
dive in with a song..and out with a long

now i am in..there will be no sin
for sins are real bad..and will make me sad
i think like a fox..and use the old box:D
for clear it do be..like apple on tree

the nectar is sweet..the noise on the street
is rubbish to bee..i listen to see
what fools make a move..out of the groove
for soon i do know..the honey will flow

it comes once again..much like the big ben
the hand it is fast..just like a ships mast
the bee now will buzz..without any fuzz
i now have the honey..and plenty of money:D

so read what u will..and take u no pill
for truth it is so..u will become slow
the head is a ball..but be it not small
just think of the bee..and keep him bizzy:D

per this last post of mine, i would recommend we all take some time to think about this one. i dont think it has to do with the cirlce and V lines.

i dont post a lot in this thread but i do read it constantly. something that i wont go into too much detail about is that this thread actually is similar to the market. TO is the initiator of lots of response like big money hitting the market. Once he posts, from there everyone jumps in and goes back and forth and around and around talking about things that are not relevant to his post. I do it myself a bit so I am not pointing. We are all trying to find our way in our thought process. Then when the thread goes too far off track TO will add something and off we go again and take the thread into areas with no value. I think we would get the most of what he and a couple others have to offer if we really put work into what he has written and then offer that up prior to his next post. Right now, the market noise (us), is what keeps us in this range.

On a side note, I have reread this thread many times and I keep seeing different things that connect more and more dots. I would recommend reading it over and over as there is more in these messages than face value.

The trend for SLB was down for several days.

Today there was a gap down, and rapid fall and then rise back up.

I figured that after the fall back to the open price after 2pm a long trade was worth a try.

It was working OK for a while but failed at the rapid fall back to the open price and was stopped out near the red arrow.

I quit for the day at that point and missed the large move up.

I've no idea what caused that as there were no announcements that I was aware of.

Nothing in your post even remotely resembles what a trader would think, or do

=======================================
You figured you would try a long

I have no idea what caused that as there were no announcements that I was aware of

Btw I could care less if you won or lost…

How you got there (your thinking process) is what I have issues with

========================================================================================

Next time you post a trade

Use a small box, or similar
Define your stop
Define your target
Whether you went long or short

And most importantly - Explain your entry reasoning… BUT… You must use the very same words, and language – price uses

Post the outcome

And I could give two hoots in hell whether it is a winner, or a loser

Omit the following when you post next;

What you think
What you figured
How you felt
What you had for breakfast
And everything else for that matter

None of it matters

Would a talking/thought pattern like this be what you are talking about RN?

Price gapped down to open the day from yesterdays close.
Then it made higher lows until noon.
Price then made a lower high to the 56.12 price off the high of the day at that time which broke the trendline drawn in the picture (13:13).
It then rejected that price of 56.21 at 14:21
I entered long on the retest of that line with a limit order.
I placed a stop under short term resistance of 55.72.
I set a target of 57.55.
Price then broke down right after my entry and hit my stop.

Just taking a stab MN , not trying to jack the question.

I tried that! And it worked! Thank you.

One year and a half ago, a person I consider a friend and who is actively participating in this thread from time to time and is well respected, gave me some simple answers. It really helped me to evolve and advance to the next level as a trader. I'm very grateful him for that. Does it mean I'm not going to fail again? - No. But the odds of success now are significantly better!

Then quit fighting yourself

Give in... tear it down... and rebuild...

Bullet Proof

Go ride that damn "you know what" and get it over with... so you can begin anew

Not only do you already have enough in your head... you have too much...

Too much to trade well anyway

Clean house... Cntrl.. Alt.. Del.. do what ever...

But lighten your load the hell up

Then KISS

And remember this in TrAdIn... not science.. nor perfection
