Maybe if hundreds of people started to participate in this thread I could see the "pattern" and was able to think again while reading this thread.

You say a lot of smart things and at the same time you mix them with nonsense. It's like putting a piece of crap in a jar with honey. The lable says it's honey but it smells like crap. What am I supposed to do, believe you that it's still good for me because of the vitamins in it?

One year and a half ago, a person I consider a friend and who is actively participating in this thread from time to time and is well respected, gave me some simple answers. It really helped me to evolve and advance to the next level as a trader. I'm very grateful him for that. Does it mean I'm not going to fail again? - No. But the odds of success now are significantly better!
 
I'll share.

Real life, I am in a trade that will kill you.
I deal with an amount of hazards that
would be unmanageable for most people.
More are killed by accidents in my field
than in the police department.
Fear has to be managed or the potential to die
becomes greater.
I have had to adapt to become as hard as can be mentally.
When I am at work I have been told that I have no pulse.
this is not boasting but, has been told to me by another.

I like the trade, enjoy it, I revel in it, it is amazingly engaging,
and I am doing something good that powers the computer,
that you and I are typing on.

Market. Haven't come to grips with the fear.
When it comes to this I am a pussy.
But, it's getting better and I am learning.
There's no short cut to the answer, is what TO is saying.
You have to break your mind down and rebuild it.
It happens to some and then again it may not.
There is no answer to dealing with the market,
because it is not logical.
He can't tell you how to do it.
He is the SENSEI, and to teach he is showing you how to learn.
He helps by giving hints.

And that's the way it works, doesn't it. You fall, you cry a bit then you get up and carry on.

I understand that I'm whining. Some may say I've turned into a troll. Fine! I will bring myself to a certain point and I will cry with real tears on my face. Then I will start to "rebuild" and continue.

and I almost cried. I don't cry, can't remember when.
It's good they say.
Breakdown you're mind and change everything and come
back to this, fresh with open child eyes.
Be careful he has posted so much over and over.
Be fucking careful and don't end up in the homeless shelter.
Don't burn the account, treat it like gold,it
is gold.

(I had a good/bad day yesterday. Made money.
Bad stress, almost broke down trading.
Traded out of one stopped it out,
and it soared.
Other following rules TO style.

I wish I could really cry like a child myself. Not anymore! And this whining annoys me just like it annoys you. And that's the reason I'm back here.

I've figured out the way to protect my capital.

But now I need to move forward. There's very little progress. I cannot clear my mind because there's no fresh wind coming in anymore. Instead I'm getting bitter. And away I go now, to find what I must find to reset and carry on. Good Bye and Good Luck. Thank you.

Thank you, my friend, I will try that.

In the mean time I will be surfing in the ocean of love. I've registered with an online dating site. Very similar experience. Uncertainty, random moves, patterns in behavior and trends. Hurts twice as much when you are rejected and no real excitement when you have a solid prospect. The dubious feeling that you have a luxury to choose in general and the one you are hoping to be with. The good thing is that you need to really win only once and you can enjoy it forever. Cheers!
