Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

I would have to say that learning from text books that all pretty much say the same thing that every one else is doing the major problem,
come up with some thing on your own.
stop wondering why your not making money and then go back to the same place you were learning from to find the answer.
stop tying to figure out what you are doing wrong and focus on finding out what to do right.
who doesnt use moving averages ? what you think your a genius cause you buy when a bar cross's a line? or that you know when a market is over bought or oversold,
Those strategies don't work on their own, hoping that you combine the right indicators and they will magically work is a dream
work with things that work on their own and then combine things
if you channels dont line up right drop the system and use a new one.,
just cause people say things work doesnt mean they do.
95% of people fail not because of the fact that they are not motivated its because 99% of the info out there is useless.

the first step to making money trading is to realize that 99.99999% of people know absolutely nothing about trading. anyone who wants to learn how to make money must understand that it is all a load of rubbish and most of what is available is just there to get those who know nothing to part with their hard earned money:eek:
many years ago i myself thought that others knew much more than i and i thus tried to emulate what they were doing. it took me a few years and a few big losers to realize what the game is really all about and how the double zero can easily be used to guarantee profits on a continuous basis
in order to advance one must be willing and able understand what common sense really means!
