Why Is The Obvious Not So Obvious?

Quote from The Oracle:

not what i had in mind ZR..comms and spread are but trading costs and as with all businesses some will have a lot cheaper costs than others

the double zero is what puts the odds in the casino's favor..it guarantees that the house will never lose in the long run

transfer to trading..to win in the long run you need to have your own double zero..otherwise, you will not win in the long run..and will more than likely lose in the short run!

i have already mentioned two things that a daytrader must know about..but i did not say the trader had to follow these two things without fail..well i think I did not anyway:) and if i did i am now clarifying it..a daytrader has to know about the two things but not follow them as it is not required

the knowing is for the understanding..it explains the why!

Shaking your rattle again. :D

The theme has been made clear, as no one will think for you when trading. There are other threads on ET that Enid Blyton has inspired, which I'm aware of, so I'm at a slight advantage in being familiar with the theme, but not fully understanding all the details. The info is all there if anyone wishes to survey and think.

Knowing the likely direction is the problem.

The closeness of YUM to the blue line was just coincidence. I was looking for stocks that had a small daily range compared to the average and YUM came up, but it was just a stall before the fall continued.

Similarly CLF had a small daily range on 24th July, looks like a fall maybe brewing:
