Why is Obama hosting a Ramadan dinner?

Obama spoke at a White House dinner he hosted Friday night to celebrate the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

I realize its a new tradition started under clinton but obama is clearly muslim.

The only reason Obama recognizes Christmas is so he can take two weeks to go to Hawaii and stick the taxpayers with the humongous bill.
