You can choose to be driven insane by watching one boring market every day, or find the unusually active stocks which are out there every day of the year. Or find a market which is moving. Up to you. The only thing more boring than a boring market is a never ending discussion about how boring the market is. Find something else to trade.

So what are making from these active stocks you speak of? Please don't say you're "making a living" and getting by. If you're not on track to make at least 500k this year than what's the point of doing this? By the way, volume and volatility has been destroyed in everything....bonds, commodities, currencies, etc. This entire business is 10 feet under as far as I'm concerned.

I am serious now...Of course volume, volatility and usual price action of everything have changed. But there is always lot of opportunities and we have to be able to adapt, to improve.
Maybe I feel it wrong, but why are you so pesimistic?
Well, that's true too. If you look at the good old days, pre-2010, people posted 5,6 figure days daily. Now we see figures like $50, $100,-$30.
If you were a passive investor, you would have done extraordinarily well. But for active traders and scalpers, it's time to move on.
Luxe and Trent both seem pretty scorned, market give you guys a good one?
