Why is John McCain still in office?

The common talking talking point today is you cant criticize John McCain because he was a POW. That is funny considering the media ripped him to shreds in 2008, but today he is off limits.

The question I have is, why is this guy even in office at this point? During the Comey hearings last year, he clearly demonstrated he was senile. Why should a person in his condition be allowed to vote on important legislation. He needs to be removed from office because he his clearly does not have the mental capacity to execute the position.
 
The hard truth is John McCain has not been on the job at all for many months, and only doing a half effort for many months before. The people of Az. have not had proper representation as a result. He needs to resign, or be deemed unfit to preform the lawful duties of the office. Apparently he is choosing to check out as a bitter old man doing as much damage as he can on his way to the exit. Another example of a guy who has long overstayed his welcome and usefulness. Naturally, the leftist media will exploit the situation all the way to the grave.
