Why I remain BEARish despite fed pump April 9th

I like your trading style because you don't need ulcer medication or drink after trading. After twenty years of trading, do you still have any emotions after making good trades or do the bad ones only draw them out?

Thanks, great points.... agree re small size reduces stress, I don't give af how any one trade works out since low risk. Downside is it's a lot more work, but worth it..

Emotions, as long as I follow my rules I don't get too ticked off... I feel sad if I lose 500 or more in a day, happy when I'm up 1k or more... it's a grind, numbers game..

@Ken, given the pop today, how did those sell to close trades work out?

It worked out great, as I closed out most positions with trailing stops early afternoon yesterday, ending up slightly over 1k up on the day. I went mostly cash into the close.

Sincere thanks, your nudge re time to cash out the winnings was right on the money!

@Ken, looks like today was a break-even on the above trades or maybe a chance to sell/close those positions today - if not, will you tomorrow Friday without carrying them over the weekend?

or when you had the confirmed buy did you put in the sell order along with a stop loss?

what are your stops usually ... 10%, 20%, 30%?

Right re breakeven day, I was in and out several times, I both swing and daytrade them.

If they gap up I'll buy premkt, will hold over weekend, size depends on trend strength end of day. Stops vary widely based on trade size and type
