The truth is, Cornix, your evidence existed prior to my challenge. Regardless, you showed 50 trades. That's meaningless not to mention not fresh. What happened after those 50? Think you can do it again? I demonstrate constantly over and over.

50 trades is not enough for you?

have you made 50 calls on ET since your join date? if so, are your calls net profitable?

LOL. I would venture I have made 1000 calls on elite with well over 50% being profitable. 2012 was a bad year, but the previous 10 were successful with various degrees of profits.

Time will come and if I am in the mood, may show some more in the future. :)

P. S. Those trades were made after you challenged me and since we agreed I show you some, so it was fair example. But enough is enough.
 
I know this will go no where with people who have an opinion and refuse to accept anything else, but oh well. I have been trading full time 10 years, and part time brings me back to 17 years. The first few years were stupid, as I just bought the various tech and sold. 2003 I was full time , and not the same story at all for buy/sell/sell/buy. I have had a couple losing years along the way, but they were years when I bought some computerized system that as most often the case, didn't live up to the fantasy. Gee, what a surprise. What has kept me in business is my own trading, which is technical analysis based, and over time I have learned price action, but still use basic tech analysis.
Why is it so difficult to imagine that there are those that can make money with tech analysis? I will guarentee there are an infinite number of HFT, computerized programs that lose their ass daily. Yet, I also do get that there are those that make money, but probably not over the long term without major adjustments. I adjust too, wow, what a concept, a human can adjust and still make money. I'll bet the majority of computerized traders loose a ton before they adjust, but I don't wait, I adapt pretty quickly. A find a new market, change profit objective, change loss, etc. I am no genius, but again I am still trading, and walking away each year with a tax bill.

Majority of those trades happened in October, while talk with Surf took place late August. All the more, those trades were copied on the account of my friend, old ET member. So yes, everything is clear there.

The other question is if I'd like to show something again... cause it didn't seem to convince the challenger and just spawned more argument. :)
 
I'll extend my thoughts, and probably will be chastised for invading a thread. I mainly trade futures intra day, and equities on a da, swing or even long term basis. I have CNBC on as they attract many successful, and largely succesful at one time traders. I listen when they are on, and look into what I hear. I llok for discrepancies, and complete failures. I trade on that, and to me that is also technical analysis. I will say, one of my favorites is Jim Cramer. I know he is a very intelligent individual, but at the same time I have made more money going against his calls, but again, that is in a shorter term than what he maybe looking at, but it has served me well in my IRA accounts.

that doesn't sound like TA based trading..sounds more like gambling...but hey if it works for you then by all means.....
