Unfortunately, you are mistaken. Just as you won't reveal the components and how your system works I won't reveal mine either. We are just going to have to agree to disagree on this issue.

Unfortunately, as soon as you claim it's objective is when I know you are confused or making stuff up.

Please stop, you haven't a clue.

One's i personally know:
Vic niederhoffer is one trading academic who doesn't believe in TA. Nasim Taleb and James Altucher are two more off the top of my head. I could name multiple more given the time to think it over...

I'll agree, it's possibly subjective ( experience). But it can't be quantified , isn't objective and can't be programmed.

vic niederhoffer quit trading and started going into PE and investment banking.. where he made most of his money.

everything is subjective, until you start seeing it objectively.

Create a chat room, invite some et folks; I'll make 'calls' in real-time (entry, target, stop), if you can't keep up with profitability or consistency in lets say a 2-4 weeks period, this argument dies and you gotta eat a hat. Deal?

This is a good idea, hopefully he doesn't just ignore this as he continues on his crusade.

He started a thread called I don't believe in TA in the technical analysis forum. That's pretty funny!

What an idiot!Where do you think he shoulda been started it?!

It was a joke. It's ironic that he doesn't believe in something that has its own forum.
