Yeah I can say the same about doctors, lawyers, mechanics, etc. Just the way the world works, including mistakes always ending up against your benefit. C’est la vie.

Well when doctors, lawyers, or mechanics harm you in any unfair way, they get reprimanded too, even more seriously. They even go to jail. But all the things that IB did, it should've gone to jail 10 times over already imo.
And this is not la vie. La vie is paying a fair and just commission with or without rebates for the execution of our orders.
It was probably even worse when they owned Timber Hill.
Your hypothesis is false. If anybody gets ripped off it is a big institution when Wall Street firms front run their large orders.
If you can't make money with penny spreads between bid and ask it is because for various reasons you are a crap trader.
