All I see from your posts are Tethers, you got some obsession with it.
The USG has been printing massively, and about to be the biggest sh*tcoiners with their 2 Trillion $ platinum coins and you're worried about Tethers?
No obsession, just reveling for those who do not know how screwed up crypto world is. I just trade this stuff and make markets.
But everyone who pitties this asset class is just a fool. There is stable demand since it's actually usefull...which you can't say about the 0.00012% of AAPL float the other guy just bought for his 401k.
But as I said, just keep it shut and trade it. If you look at the crypto threads there are always the same morons who don't know shit. You're not gonna convince anyone. If you hold outright you made 12% on your stash today. Sit back and enjoy yourself

Yea, agree with you and not trying to convince them, especially RedDuke who will never get past the Tether, lol. It's funny about your example on AAPL stock, because early march I fired up a cold-wallet (private key had to be retrieved from a double encrypted volume) in order to prepare to "cash out" about $10K to load up on supplies for the "lockdown".
Ended up using less than half since cryptos prices crashed didn't feel the price was good (value have since recovered and more). How is it related to AAPL stock? I started the first transfers in the middle of the night and on a weekend to the exchange and was spending them that weekend and afterwards. Can't do that with AAPL stock.
please explain then. Why does it make sense for me to deposit 8k cash to buy a bitcoin and BitFinex just creates 8k of Tethers out of thin air to buy the same coin.????

Dude, I don't know what you should do with your money but I know what I invested in. You should relax a little, and if you're losing $ on your trades, just study up and you'll get it back. That's how the markets go, up and down, there's another opportunity that will present itself. If you're making money, then good for you and wish you more success. Peace.

Dude, I didn't avoid your question as it was leading with an answer that is false. My crypto portfolio is having a great year so don't worry about my investment beliefs.
You're not invested in cryptos but you keep posting about Tethers for years and I think that's unhealthy for you to worry about something that's none of your business. I think you feel bad about missing out and that's your fault.
