Why hosting right wing extremism and those who spread hate on a daily basis?

@Baron, I appreciate you making your stance clear at least. After all P&R contributes a large number of posts to the overall total, if not the majority.

Would you mind please closing my account on this site. I don't think I want to be part of a site that does not denounce lies that contribute to and promote racial hatred, by not taking a clear stance against it.

Or is there a way I can close the account myself?

Well, it depends I would say. If a large number of the population is mislead by certain elements that have no qualms at making up lies with the intent to stir up hatred towards race and religion instead of focusing on individual cases then the majority should not sit silent and watch on how a few fuck it up for all of us. Let's procecute crime to the harshest legal extent but splitting a society as has happened in the US can't be good for any nation. When some would rather shoot a bullet into a Hispanic's head or bomb the whole black ghetto without regard to individuals then something is clearly seriously wrong. Would you not think so?

Let's have a debate about Islam or Muslims or blacks or whoever but why do we need to tolerate those who try to make a point with lies and falsehood? It only shows how weak their arguments are. Unfortunately there are a lot of gullible people who are easily swayed without checking facts. I simply don't find lies acceptable.

In Canada, we believe that racism and some "hate" is not covered by free speech. While it may be true that said content is legal in the US ( for now ), it still reflects badly on your site to have a section dominated by such content. This has nothing to do with being "easily offended", for many of us ALL racism offends us. We can choose to oppose it or give up on a certain club or populace that refuses to be civilized.

Your stance on this is no different then golf clubs that only allow white members. There are I am sure numerous aging directors at said clubs who could rhyme off numerous excuses why this is an ok condition. All the outside world can do is exert some political or economic pressure on said clubs to essentially force them to change or they become isolated and eventually irrelevant to many. A country may in fact make it illegal in some cases.

ps I'm not "left leaning" at all. That's just another example of the propaganda that some
use on here resting on labels rather then the actual subject matter. Go ahead, show me
any posts I have in history that support your contention that I'm "left leaning".

Free speech is one thing but there are now numerous individuals on your website who falsify facts, link to dead sources or unrelated sources, and alter the truth in ways to serve their fascist agenda. It goes as far as claiming women were raped, the falsification of video material, used as evidence against police overreach and numerous other acts.

Freedom of speech should not be guaranteed when the truth is perverted and individuals look to spread hated towards others whom they accuse of crimes not committed. When will this stop? It happens every single day in the politics forums. Are you still looking to run a trading related website or is this a new breeding ground for Nazis and those who want to hate? If you look at many individuals in those politics forums, especially those with an extremist right wing agenda, you will find that such individuals hardly ever contributed or posted anything trading related.

I laud your business enthusiasm but I would say shame on you if you favor click counts and ad dollars over limiting free wheeling extremism and hate speech. I do not think it is an excuse to close your eyes to extremism and hate speech by arguing that trading related and politics forums are divided and hence it does not matter.

Can you at least consider whether you knowingly continue to tolerate the spreading of hate and falsifying of facts or whether something can potentially be done about that? I think it would be important for your users to know as they also have a right to make up their mind whether this site is still a place they feel comfortable spending part of their free time.
