Dont know if I agree with that, where did they openly accept homosexuals as preachers? Admittedly im not well studied on it cause im an atheist, but i think its more of a factor of pedophiles finding situations that are advantageous to their sick desires. The reason so many pedophiles end up as priests or teachers, or coaches is because they put themselves in a position where they will be an authority figure over children. Becoming a priest or a coach just so happens to be one of those positions that is relatively easy to obtain, no degree required and those positions are often in short supply.

We know which arguments from the leftist playbook will be used even before they're stated.

If it's religion, steeping yourself in it will have no effect on behaviour. It couldn't possibly change a person.

If it's about that homo stuff, society must reject and surpress any negative portrayals in media because it will surely shape perceptions and lead to negative attitudes and possibly actions towards a lifestyle that all people should realize is normal.

We can tell what the left really thinks about the principal of exposure by the fact that it floods the media with it's own playbook. Why would they waste their time if they didn't think it would work?

It is very difficult for the people to have a good idea of who they are electing. The politican's speeches are written for them, their looks are covered by the cosmetics industry and their own thoughts are basically unknown.

Their policies are largely those of the party heavyweights.

So what you get is a sort of puppet/mouthpiece of the party struggling to implement their own ideas like Obama-care etc. The various departments have tens of thousands of employees but their mountains of suggestions are largely ignored unless useful to back up the President's views.
