Why highly intelligent people are NOT happy.

Well, pride comes before the fall is what comes to mind. I think you mean that they will never find the truth they are seeking right? Which can also be said of people who are too desperate in their pursuit of making lots of money. If money wasn't such an issue in this world, more people would be doing what they actually like to be doing and would probably be more happy as a result. I would suggest that people who found the markets/trading for additional income besides their actual passion in life would be the happiest :-)
 
Intelligent people do have trouble conforming to society, but most are trapped into a restrictive working enviroment which makes them hate their life.


Its more likely that you aren't happy cause you arent' making enough money.

CAuse if you are, sooner or later you'll think things out because of all the time you have, and the freedom to do whatever you want.

Isn't that what intelligence is for ? To solve problems :)

I agree with first part and disagree with second

money truly can not buy happiness, well at least not for everybody

for example today by 10 AM BC time I made a nice chunk, I had no need to participate in the late rally

money isn't a problem, I can have all the cake in the world, none of it will reverse global warming (of which I too am guilty off)

none of it would have convinced Bush not to VETO children's health plan

my honest opinion is.....if money can make you happy ..........you are truly a selfish person.

money is good, but it should be used to make other people more satisfied too

for example I made a TON of money for family and friends

I didn't share my strategies but sure made them money

giving feels good.

I should try to save a lot and build a school or something

Imo, not enough money is any negative number on a scale of happiness. When you have enough money the negative number only becomes zero on the scale of happiness, generally. Never higher than a one or two.

If you have a problem and money can solve that problem, it is not a true problem.

Of course none of these words have meaning without the right attitude.

intelligent people need stimulants,

Its good you are in the trading business, because there are stimulants almost everyday for you

change every week
conquests every month.

Stimulants make inteligent people happy, thats why talking to your normal friends don't make you happy, because they don't stimulate you enough.

When they do stimulate you, you do feel happy.

Get stimulated, Get excited.
Keep changing , and you'll be happy.


Passion is what makes people happy
Change is what keeps things exciting.
