Definitely of value for those who enter S.T.E.M. fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) in terms of finding work after college. Also, nothing wrong with trade schools (plumber, electrician, HVAC, auto-repair, etc.) as that type of knowledge is always needed.
But not so much for those majoring in gender studies, lesbian dance therapy, ad infinitum. I see countless TikTok and Xwitter videos of the latter group of graduates complaining about not finding any work, having to flip burgers for minimal pay, etc.
