Why everything you've been told about evolution is wrong

Quote from CaptainObvious:

My only argument is, and always has been, you can't dismiss the argument of creation as silly and then come up with something such as multi-universes as an alternative without the pot meeting the kettle. One is as far fetched as the other, and putting a complex math equation behind a theory doesn't make it any more believable, especially when you consider just how many assumptions are in those equations. Lot's and lot's of holes yet to be filled.

Multi-universes is not a theory: it is bordorline science. A hypothensis. Evolution is a theory supported by volumes of evidence and rather than being bordorline science it is the foundation of all biology.

Evolution is not a controversial subject except in the minds of those who have absolutely zero or very little understanding of the subject. It is not sustained by complex math equations either.

Quote from Index piker:

What presupposition would that be?
You made two loaded presuppositions leaving any reasoning for them therefore based on fallacy.

The anthropic principle or so called fine tuning of the universe, is not science.
Trying to infer a (supernatural) creator of the universe because of so called fine tuning, is to misunderstand the anthropic principle,

Stating that is neither to deny a creator or to accept a creator nor does it accept the universe without scrutiny.

Hope that helps your query.

Perhaps you might occasionally address the substance of what I said rather than trying to produce misconceptions resulting from incorrect reasoning. Jem can clearly manage to mess up in that way by himself.

Quote from stu:

sheesh... just why are you so desperate for a creator other than the universe itself?

sheesh, why are you so certain one exists and the other not? That's just plain stupid and shows your limited thinking.

...and that demonstrates yet again, how you can't stop yourself from making statements based on fallacy

Romans 1:18-21

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

OK retard, please point out where I wrote anything about denying evolution. I was making reference to bing bang theory, multi universes, and the like. You know that! I know I have also written that evolution is a theory I believe in. Evolution does exist. My question is whether it's random, or by design. So you fucking moron, next time you wish to debate me get the fucking facts straight. Now go catch your short bus you simple minded fuck!

Someone is having a bad day :D

:D You're right, got off to a bad start this morning in my f'n job, in this f'n economy, with the f'n nitwit customers and the f'n a-hole, cry baby mo-fo employees, and then I read some shit about something I never wrote. One good thing did come out of my rant response. I have invented a new theory of creation called the "bing bang" theory. Has a nice ring to it, eh?

that competes with my "botta bing botta boom" theory :D
