Afghanistan's Senate welcomes reporter's death sentence
Afghanistan's upper house of parliament lauded the death sentence handed down against a local journalist who was found guilty of insulting Islam, an official said Wednesday.
In a statement signed by Sibghatullah Mojaddedi, the chamber's chairman, the Senate also condemned what it called "international interference" to have the sentence annulled, spokesman Aminuddin Muzafari said Wednesday.
The journalist, 23-year-old Sayed Parwez Kaambakhsh, was sentenced to death last week by a three-judge panel in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif for distributing a report he printed off the Internet to journalism students at Balkh University.
The article asked why men can have four wives but women can't have multiple husbands.
The court in Mazar-i-Sharif found that the article humiliated Islam. Members of a clerical council also pushed for Kaambakhsh to be punished.

I like to sum it up by saying simply
"they suck"
I believe the problem is that Muslim fanatics know that we hold human life and liberties more precious than they do. Knowing that they take full advantage by using their own cripple and mentally challenged population as human "ammunition".....The willingness to sacrifice their own population is interesting to me. Although they espose great religious principle as rationale for this strategy, it is informative that the leaders of their fanatic movements do not themselves participate in this type of warfare....I believe it is because they do not have the courage of their convictions, or in idiomatic English, "they are pussies"....willing to victimize their own fellow Muslims. That much is clear.
In my constitutionally protected opinion, I believe that Muslims in general should be exported to some island or contained space so that they can limit their destructive tendencies to their own, apparently willing population. It might be practical to have tours of the contained and controlled areas where they live so that the rest of us can learn from this experience. The situation could then be transformed from one of conflict to one of education, sort of like going to the zoo....
The other option in my opinion is to simply drop thermonuclear devices on the main cities and turn them all into radioactive puddles of glowing plasma.
For me it is important to be able to offer good workable solutions, not just complain about the problem...

I don't know much about the history of the region so I'm not qualified to make insightful comments on it. My impresssion of the Palestinians is that they were poor, poorly funded, and too poorly organized to be fascists. I suspect (but don't know) that all they had in common with the Nazis was their dislike of Jews.
Maybe a few of them went to Germany and told Hitler he was great guy and said "Sure, sure - we're fascists. So how about those guns?" .
I'm sure the Palestinians were somewhere on Hitler's death list.
But as I say.. I don't know the history.
