There isn't a single piece of hard information in this thread.
Someone start giving examples of securities, fees, spreads, etc...
Or mods please move thread to the Travel Section...
Or maybe the ET Hobo Discussion Forum.
To the toppic, "why should they" ???
You can trade every market, from where ever you want on this planet.
I for myself live on the canary island in spain, and its pretty cheap there, but lifestyle is high (expect the hight immigrants rate from africa), its cheaper than Mallorca & Ibiza.
Of course you can move, life and work everywhere in Europe if you have a visa, but to get one, do you need a lot of money or a job, its like any other country with the visa.
I trade US + European + Asian Stocks, makes no difference for me. The different times are ok, too, because i am mainly a 24h working Forex trader. so no problem. I trade the stocks with BNP Paribas and i am happy with that. Fees + spreads are depending on the broker, dont you think.
Only difference is taxes, if you want to pay the lowest taxes, go in the carribean, Bahamas would be good - but its so hot there.
