Remember Benghazi? Obama and Clinton allowed US Ambassador Stevens to be murdered by radical Islamists attacking the US embassy in Benghazi, Libya. If not for the heroic efforts of a couple of ex-military men serving as contractors who defied orders, there would have been more Americans killed. A couple of them died and others severely wounded. That should not have happened when they had a Seal Team waiting orders to be deployed. There were fighter jets that could have been scrambled and could have been there in ten minutes and bombed the attacking Islamists yet, no action taken by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. American lives did not matter to them. Now, you know which US President has your back. Who would you rather protect you?

We’re not going to war with Iran. If that was a remote possibility, they would be moving in multiple carrier groups and 100,000 personnel.

As far as I’ve read, they’ve moved about 3,500 people into the region recently.

It'll take 3months to ready 100,000 troops, ground troops get basic training and a basic state of readyness, they'll need 3 months of hard training and drills before deployment and all the other logicistical issues that go along with war.

Obviously they have a QRF likely Rangers that are always ready to go immediately, but too costly to keep everyone at that state just incase.
