Why Does "Socialism" Work in like... Denmark and Finland but not Venezuela? :)

There is no difference between the Socialism in Venezuela as opposed to those of Denmark and Finland. You have to ask what stage of Socialism it is in. At the latter stage, there is widespread repression and the government like Adolph Hitler before, will use an iron fist! NAZI means Nationalist Socialist Workers Party for those who do not know it, Hitler was a full on Socialist! Look at France, the bastion of Socialism for most extreme liberals in the US! They are at the later stage where they have run out of other people's monies. Remember the yellow jackets? How many months now have they demonstrated and Macron has responded by sending out the police and brutalizing the hapless demonstrators. You ignore the other Socialist failures like Cuba, Greece, Ireland, Portugal with the last 3 all bailed out by Germany. Remember that? Now, Italy, France and Spain are not doing so well. You cannot re-invent the wheel. Socialism is a huge failure while, capitalism is a huge success. Switzerland although, Socialist might be the exception, because it is highly capitalistic, does not sign trade deals that it does not consider fair (like Trump), puts its citizens first (like Trump), controls its border (like Trump). If you still have not figured out why the US economy is surging while, Europe stagnates and struggles, you have not been paying attention!

Under this of course Nordic countries don't fall under the definition. Maybe even Venezuela doesn't because Venezuela still has some private ownership of production and distribution and private property.

Are there other definitions?

Maduro has taken control of all the major businesses in Venezuela. Under Socialism, there are filthy rich people at the top. Those Socialist leaders. Why do you think Maduro fears an election?
In the US, Socialist Bernie Sanders has gotten rich with 3 houses now and drives a $200,000 car. When one of the so called darlings, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez suggested raising taxes on the rich, he vehemently, objected! Boy, you are twisting trying to justify and defend Socialism and claim it is not Socialism after all?

Marginal tax rates are not useful. Total effective tax rates are a better metric.

Denmark and Finland are not socialist, not even close. They have high taxes and government regulation but private property is private property, no-one will take it from you under the banner of socialism like in Venezuela.
