He has vocal chord polyps. Recently had surgery.
How many years was it that Tobacco companies used statistics / surveys / research to show that cigarette smoking was safe ?
My grandfather use to talk about how the Military proved it was safe when they gave cigarettes out for free to soldiers to show that you can smoke and fight with no lasting impact on your health.
Strangely, I've met a lot of old military guys with the same voice like Fauci...maybe there's a connection. Fauci may have been a smoker at one time in his life ?
