Why does everyone complain about Interactive Brokers?

Why does everyone insist on complaining non-stop about IB? If you're so fed up with the crap service and garbage reliability why don't you go with a smaller firm like the one I use, Cobra Trading. At least they are going to know who you are when you call and they can address your issue personally.

Im not trying to shill for Cobra Trade. Im just wondering if there are so many complaints out there about IB why not go to a different platform like Cobra which has no customer service issues and is overall a much cheaper and better service? Thats all...
