Why does a stock price that rallies throughout the day and through the night open lower

Actually it doesn't take a big institutional player to manipulate a low volume stock.

5% now is as much as 15% ~ 20% back in 2000.

Really low vol, even less.

But you can expand futher on , onto this, cuz what i wrote, was from a real vision episode, and my knowladge about this, is close to zero.

I read it .... and stand by what I said. During low volatility periods in overnight markets it doesn't take a real big boy to move them.

Hell even during high vol periods one fat finger can send a top stock or index rocketing or crashing.

but back to his AAPL profit taking question. Most likely taking AAPL, PROfits around$ 300; round numbers tend to be a like a magnet. So its a good place to sell ;or since JAN /1st quarter + 4th quarter tend$ be super=strong in Tech, thy could have just as ea$y gapped it up past $300, which they most likley will do,later, or simply bull treNd it past $333.337...................................................................................................................
