Why Do We Value The Health Of Animals More Than Our People?

Saw this on a blog. Makes sense to me.

"Nevertheless, knowing that closing the borders to air travel will almost certainly lead to closing all of our borders, a group of power hungry, Obama worshiping Democrats are mocking the idea. They know that if the southern border is closed they will HAVE to vote for tough and effective measures to keep it closed. They know that doing so will shut off their supply of new Democrat voters; and they know that once the border is closed it will be very politically difficult to open it any time soon.

Of course no Democrat wants the southern border closed."

I think you're going a bit overboard on this. It's not in Obama's interest to unleash a mass infection of Ebola. I know Scat will disagree with me.

I'm not claiming they want to unleash ebola, only that their policies make it more likely. Now I see that the Maine nurse is out riding a bike, basically giving the middle fingerto anyone who is concerned. They should incarcerate her immediately.

I often criticize the military for not adequately protecting their people. I have to give them credit. The unfortunate soldiers who were sent to west africa have to go through a 21 day quarantine.

Is the military overreacting? Why do they think it is necessary but obama doesn't think ordinary citizens should get the same protection?

Is ebola the second disease to achieve PC status, after AIDs? Apparently it is, and that means that our rights are automatically subordinated to those of people carrying the disease.

At least with AIDs, we could see the reasoning. Democrats wanted to suck up to rich homos. What is the possible rationale for allowing infected africans to come here, other than some bizarre afro-roots longing by our increasingly erratic president?

"... What is the possible rationale for allowing infected africans to come here, other than some bizarre afro-roots longing by our increasingly erratic president?..."

That's the big question... "WHY"?

Don't mean to be redundant, but see "Cloward-Piven".

"No matter, he wasn't counting on that one (Ebola) anyway... just a pleasant little surprise to be exploited if possible."

Rofl.

"Is ebola the second disease to achieve PC status? At least with AIDs, we could see the reasoning. Democrats wanted to suck up to rich homos."

Nonsense. The virus doesn't care who it infects, it has no human motives political or otherwise. The general dem position (and non-zealot reps, too) is that homosexuality is acceptable between consenting adults. And the existence of AIDS cannot be blamed on that behavior. This means the dem position on AIDS is "a-PC", as in neither PC nor non-PC.
