It would be very good if struggling traders loved to put efforts in reaching such a target in the beginning of their career. Cause it's easier to improve from break-even to profit than from losing to break-even.

I am not speaking of my personal experience here. And honestly there never was $ target to reach.
Is it easier yet to improve from small profits to big ones?
OK in ticks?
Think so. Cause it can be achieved extensively (more contracts/markets) and step from good to better is emotionally much easier.
Neither in ticks. Just never cared about targets.
did you hope at the start of the year to make 1ticks at the end of the year,
