About as easy as breaking even. See, it's about the averages and margin for statistical error.
consistent profits with small losses is the key, when you fall,you want to change that to a stumble,you need to have as a goal, the mastering of both,see a lot of questions aimed at profits,we learn from mistakes,so that seems to be the key, originally,it's easy to make money, it's hard not to give it back,if you can get to "it's easy not to give it back....
Yep. That's what I meant by consistent profits. Profits that overall steadily exceed losses in total amount.

Is making on GC 1 tick a year, WORTH the efforts in trading ?
No, of course always being about break-even is not worth it. I understood your point from the start of this discussion: profit must be good enough to justify putting efforts into getting it. But this matter is complicated, includes nuances of every instrument etc.
Even relatively small profits in very liquid instruments can be a blessing. Not so in less scalable vehicles.
If it is not worth the effort, to reach a target of 1tick/year that is also probably easy in your eyes : why would you put any real effort to achieve such a target of 1 tick/year?
Also, any idea of what type of targets in ticks you aimed each year in the past?
